Visitor Centre Café

At Bainloch Deer Park's Visitor Centre, you will find our Bistro open from 10am to 4pm daily, with viewing over the lower part of the Deer Park. This is also our 4x4 Tour pickup point, home to our bespoke and unique Gift Shop, and where you will find our "Enchanted Woodland" Escape Room. We look forward to meeting you!

Toasted Ciabatta, Burgers, Soups, Hot and Cold Filled Rolls and the ever popular Big Breakfast, all prepared to order.  We also have the kids covered, and a range of Gluten-Free options, as well as a selection of tempting sweet treats!

Bainloch Deer Park is set in the wild hills overlooking the Solway Coast and is home to Japanese sika, wild roe deer and Britain’s largest land mammal, the majestic red deer.


Find Us

Bainloch Deer Park is situated in Sandyhills, approximately seven miles from Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway, south-west Scotland. Directions: From Dumfries, Stranraer or Castle Douglas on the A75, follow the signs for Dalbeattie and take the A710 signposted ‘Colvend Coast.’ Opposite Sandyhills beach car park, turn left and our entrance is just 250 yards further up on the right, on the bend shortly before the entrance to Barend Holiday Village. Follow our drive up for around half a mile and you will find us at the top!
